Luo Rui Ping

Piano Teacher

Luo Ruiping (罗瑞萍) is a piano teacher with a strong foundation in classical piano performance and extensive training in Singapore and the UK. She began learning piano at the age of four, growing up in a musical family under the guidance of her mother, a professional piano teacher who runs a private studio in China. Her early immersion in music developed a lasting passion for piano and continues to influence her approach to teaching.

She received formal training from several distinguished mentors before attending Shenzhen Art School during her secondary school years, where she undertook rigorous full-time training in classical music. In 2021, she moved to Singapore to pursue a Diploma in Music (Piano Performance) at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), before completing her Bachelor of Music at the Royal College of Music in the UK in 2026. During her studies in the UK, she further broadened her musical perspective through exposure to Europe’s rich classical music heritage.

As a teacher, Ruiping specializes in working with students from beginner to intermediate-advanced levels. She places strong emphasis on careful preparation, structured learning, and adapting lessons to each student’s individual learning style and pace. With extensive teaching experience in Singapore, she understands the needs of local students and takes a patient, encouraging approach to helping them develop solid technique, musical understanding, and confidence.

Ruiping is particularly attentive to students who experience performance anxiety, supporting them in building confidence through steady preparation and positive encouragement. Beyond her private teaching, she volunteers as a piano teacher at Sian Chay Charity Centre. She is also an active performer, with appearances including NAFA’s High Scorers’ Concert and the 2019 CCTV Spring Festival Gala (Shenzhen Venue), where she performed in a programme led by Lang Lang.

Drawing on her experience as both a performer and educator, Ruiping aims to create a supportive learning environment where students can progress at their own pace, develop a lasting appreciation for music, and find genuine joy in playing the piano.
