Micky Liew is a piano teacher with a solid foundation in classical piano performance and extensive stage experience. She holds ABRSM Grade 8 in Piano and has successfully completed the ARSM Performance Diploma, demonstrating a strong level of performance ability and musical understanding. She has been actively involved in music competitions, school events, ensemble performances, and wedding ceremonies.
From a young age, Micky has participated in a wide range of performance settings, which has helped her develop strong musical sensitivity, reliable technical control, and confidence on stage. In 2019, she attended a piano masterclass at the Vienna Music Institute (VMI), further broadening her musical exposure and deepening her understanding of performance style and musical interpretation.
As a teacher, Micky values clear structure, patience, and consistency in her teaching. She places strong emphasis on building correct technique, healthy practice habits, and musical confidence, especially for young learners. Her calm and encouraging teaching style helps students feel supported while progressing steadily in both technical ability and musical expression.
In addition to solo performance, Micky has experience as an accompanist for school choirs and string ensembles, demonstrating strong sight-reading skills and collaborative musicianship.
