Emily Wang, founder of SoMe Music School, was invited to serve as a juror for the Pearl River Kayserburg International Youth Piano Competition, witnessing firsthand the remarkable performances of young pianists. The competition attracted over 400 participants from around the world, with 100 finalists ultimately advancing to the grand final through intense preliminary rounds.

On the final stage, young performers from Singapore impressed both the audience and the judges with their confidence and refined technique. Their performances showcased not only solid technical foundations but also genuine musical expression, conveying the beauty and emotional power of music.

Emily Wang provided each participant with thoughtful and comprehensive feedback, drawing on her professional musical perspective and extensive adjudication experience, while encouraging them to continue exploring and growing on their musical journey. This competition was not only a test of skill but also a vibrant celebration of passion and artistry.

We applaud the achievements of Singapore’s young musicians and look forward to seeing more children discover themselves through music, continue to grow and shine on future stages.
